Delivery Assurance Mechanism

The Authority has established a delivery assurance mechanism to enable it deliver on its mandate by serving the key stakeholders as per the expected standards.

The mechanism includes activities like: – joint inspections with key partners like Uganda National bureau of Standards (UNBS) and the Grain Council of Uganda (TGCU), outsourcing of inspection services, accreditation of the Authority under ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO 9001 certification, certification of commodity handlers and fumigators and finally establishment of an Arbitration Committee.
